A Guide to House of Delegates Meetings
The House of Delegates is the principal policy-making body of the Washington State Medical Association. At its annual session each year, the House acts on numerous reports and resolutions and establishes policy to guide the Association and its members.
This guide provides information about the House’s policy development process. It is designed to help new delegates and alternate delegates understand and participate in the policy process.

Exhibitor/Contribution Program
Your company is cordially invited to purchase an exhibit booth at the 2008 WSMA Annual Meeting at $1250.00. In order to encourage exhibiting companies to stay until the show is finished and allow participating physicians greater opportunity to visit the display booths, the Washington State Medical Association will refund $250 to each company/organization that maintains their booth with a present representative until 5:00pm on Saturday, September 27, 2008.
The Exhibition Hall will officially open at 7:00am on Friday, September 26, 2008, and officially close at 5:00pm on Saturday, September 27, 2008. See information below for more details, i.e., booth set-up time, booth teardown time, and display hours.
Meeting Contribution Program – Contributions are accepted for some meeting events such as the WSMA President's Dinner and New President’s Reception, and general coffee breaks in the Exhibition Hall. Contributor recognition is in the form of display signs directly outside the door of the event, and acknowledgment in both our preliminary and final meeting programs.
Spokane, WA was the site of the 2008 WSMA Annual Meeting and was well attended by 500-600 health care professionals, including physicians, physician assistants, nurses and medical group managers. We anticipate the same number of attendees this year.
Once again, this year each company represented with an exhibit is entitled to 2 tickets to the President's Dinner and New President’s Reception. To redeem your company's 2 tickets, please contact Kesley Howard no later than Friday, August 15, 2008.
If you wish to participate as an Exhibitor or Contributor, please download and complete the application below and return it to Kesley Howard at our Seattle office. Booth numbers will be assigned approximately one month prior to the meeting and special booth location requests are on a first received, first paid basis.
Be sure to include your payment (checks payable to the Washington State Medical Association) with your application.
