National waiting list:  Almost 90,000 men, women and children in the United States are waiting for a life-saving organ transplant.

Sadly, 17 people die each day waiting for a transplant.

At any one time there are more than 1,200 people in the Northwest waiting for a transplant.

How to become an organ donor

  • Register online at www.livinglegacyregistry.org
  • Call the Living Legacy Foundation at LifeCenter Northwest toll-free at 1 (877) 275-5269 to request that a registry brochure be mailed to you.
  • Say ‘yes’ to organ donation when renewing your driver’s license.  Washington residents who already have a heart on their driver’s license are automatically added to the Living Legacy Registry.
