Preventive Health Programs for Youth

DOH's Child and Adolescent Health
The Department of Health's Child and Adolescent Health Web site is of the most comprehensive sites for preventable health programs. The site includes:

  • Abstinence Education
    The Abstinence Education Program supports community projects and educational media to reduce teen pregnancy in Washington State.

  • Youth Development
    The Youth Development program's goal is to decrease the incidence of teen pregnancies in communities with high teen pregnancy rates.
